My name is Spanish and means “white moon” — and I think it suits me well. It reminds me to be gentle and steady: to hold light, even when life feels unclear.
I love the ocean, movement, fresh air on my skin, quiet mornings, and deep conversations that stay with you.
Ways of the Lines is my personal compass — and it started when I stopped trying to “figure everything out” and began to simply listen.
When I moved to Taiwan, life around me was changing fast. And in the noise of it all, I had somehow forgotten the simplest thing: myself.
Then Lanyu happened — not as a plan, but as a beautiful accident of love. And this island slowly guided me back.
At first, the silence felt too loud. I’m a city kid from Germany — and suddenly there was only nature, space, and my own thoughts.
My partner told me: “Sit in front of the ocean and watch it. It will teach you stillness.”
So I did. I sat down, breathed, and stayed.
Over time, I began to notice lines everywhere:
in the waves, in the wind, in the landscape, in the way a body moves, and in the invisible directions a life takes when you choose to begin again.
I’ve been tattooing simple lines on my own body for years — small markers of chapters I’ve lived through. And yoga became another kind of line: movement that helps you return to your breath, your body, your inner world.
Ways of the Lines is a space for those lines — outer and inner.
Not to search for one perfect path, but to recognize the many small lines that shape a life: the turns, the pauses, the brave steps, the quiet beginnings.
